Traits

Innate Spellcasting. The raven's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (Spell Save DC 12). The raven can innately cast the Vicious Mockery spell, without requiring spell components.

Flyby. The raven doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.

Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the raven to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant damage or from a critical hit. On a success, the raven drops to 1 hit point instead.

Actions

Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4+2) piercing damage.

Reactions

Birdic Inspiration ((Recharge 5-6). Whenever the raven sees an allied Undead within 20 ft. of it fail an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, the raven can spew a string of insults towards it, giving an inspiration die (1d6) to the roll, potentially turning the roll into a success. A creature can only be affected by a single birdic inspiration die at a time.

Description

Birds of all kinds have all been used to carry messages - the bone raven, however, can do much more. Being composed of the body of a raven and the head of a bard, with the bard's mouth being fitted to the raven's stomach, allowing its sharp tongue to mock its enemies.
