Traits

Unyielding Grasp. When the titan successfully grapples a creature with its Latching Slam, the creature has disadvantage on its saving throw against the titan's Mass Engulf legendary action.

Actions

Multiattack. The titanic elemental primordial titan makes one slam attack and one latching slam attack.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 14 (3d8) of any one damage type the titan has resistance or immunity to.

Latching Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 14 (3d8) of any one damage type the titan has resistance or immunity to, and the target is grappled (escape DC 14).

Elemental Discharge. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., two targets. Hit: 21 (4d8) damage of any one damage type the titan has resistance to (and the titan loses that resistance) OR 36 (5d10) damage of any one damage type the titan has immunity to (and the titan loses that immunity).

Bonus Actions

Elemental Surge. Auranthos can channel its elemental energy to temporarily enhance its physical attacks. Until the start of its next turn, its slam attacks deal an additional 2d6 damage of a type the titan has resistance or immunity to.

Reactions

Absorb Element. When the titan is subjected to fire, lightning, cold, acid, radiant, or necrotic damage for the first time, it gains resistance to that element. If the titan is subjected to one of the aforementioned damage types when resistant to it, it gains immunity to that damage type. If the titan is subjected to one of the aforementioned damage types when immune to it, it regains hit points equal to half the damage that would have been dealt.

Legendary Actions

The titanic primordial titan can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature's turn. The titan regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Lash Out. The titan makes a latching slam attack.

Localized Discharge (Costs 2 Actions). The titan spends an immunity, and all creatures currently grappled must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (5d8) damage of that type on a failure, or half as much damage on a success.

Mass Engulf (Costs 3 Actions). All creatures currently grappled must make a DC 14 Strength save. On a failure, they are pulled into the titan's space, and the creature takes 21 (4d6) damage of any one damage type the titan has resistance to (acid if it currently has no resistances) and is engulfed. The engulfed creature can't breathe, is restrained, and takes 22 (4d10) damage of any one type the titan has resistance to (or acid if it has none) at the start of each of the titan's turns. When the titan moves, the engulfed creature moves with it. An engulfed creature can try to escape by taking an action to make a DC 14 Strength check. On a success, the creature escapes and enters a space of its choice within 5 feet of the titan.
