Echolocation. When under water, the War - ka has a blindsight of 120 feet. This ability is innefective when the creature is deafened. While underwater and not deafened, the War - ka has advantage on all perception checks reliying on hearing.
Amphibious. The War - ka can breathe air and water.
Water Dependency. If the War - ka fails to immerse itself in water for at least 1 hour during a day, it suffers 1 level of exhaustion at the end of that day. It can recover from this exhaustion only through magic or by immersing itself in water for at least 1 hour.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 18 (4d6 + 4) [piercing] damage. If the attacked creature is medium or smaller, it is grappled ( Escape DC 13). While a creature is restrained this way, the War - ka can't bite another creature.
Tail Swipe. MeleeWeapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 16 (3d8 + 4) [Bludgeoning] damage. On a hit, the target makes a DC 13 STR saving throw. On a failed save, the target is pushed 10 feet away from the War - ka, and knocked prone.
Description
The War - ka are a species of amphibious, orca like, four-legged, bred by Tritons and Sea elves. They are used as mounts, as they can walk and swim and also carry heavy loads. The War - ka have a lifespan of about 150 years and mature slower than humans. They are in their Baby form until they reach around 15 years of age and mature into Adult War - ka at about the age of 50. When they rach adulthood, they can be equipped with armor and be used as war - beasts.
