Occult Spellcasting. An Adrunaki Stargazer's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). She has the following wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): light, prestidigitation, ray of frost
1st level (2 slots): color spray, magic missile, shield, sleep
Dark Devotion. The cultist has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Joy from Pain. Whenever this creature suffers a critical hit, it can make one melee weapon attack as a reaction.
Covenant of Adrun. If the cultist begins its turn with less than 5 HP, it can use its Sanguine Scimitar to destroy the Sigil Ring they wear on their left hand, transforming them into a monstrosity known as the Writhing Bones of Adrun.
Sanguine Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4+2) slashing damage.
If the target is a creature other than an undead or a construct, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature starts bleeding and loses 2 (1d4) hit points, half damage on a successful saving throw. Then at the start of each of its turns, the creature suffers an additional 1 (1d4-1) lingering bleed damage due to the bleeding wound. Lingering bleeding damage is stackable with successive successful attacks. Any creature can take an action to stanch the lingering bleeding with a successful *DC 10 Wisdom (Medicine) check*. The wound also closes if the target receives magical healing.
