Description
Excerpt from "Horrors of the underdark" By Dideroo Hark
"During the second stage and late first stage of the swarm the Brood Mother will begin producing brutes. These creatures can take quite a bit of punishment and are slightly smarter than Banelings. These creatures make up the backbone of the Swarm."
Brutes are the second weakest class of the swarm. Brutes are roughly the size of a human but are much bulkier. Several thick scales overlap each other. Unlike the Banelings, the Brutes can inject poison from their tails. The mandibles are lengthened and became much more flexible, now acting as arms.

Posted Dec 10, 2023This creature is part of a collection of monsters called The Swarm. The other monsters are called, Baneling, Bane General, Bane Praetorian, and Bane Brood Mother. (last 3 aren't done yet)
Forgot to put this in case you didn't want to figure out how many there should be, for every ten banelings in a swarm there is a brute.
