Traits

Echolocation. Any creature that moves at full speed within 50 ft. of the Clicker must make a contested Dexterity (Stealth) check vs. the Clicker's Wisdom (Perception) check. On a failure, the Clicker knows the targets location until the end of it's next turn, at which point the Clicker loses vision if the target is more than 50 ft. away.

Charge. If the Bloater moves at least 10 ft. straight toward a target and then hits it with a melee attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 3d6 bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Fungal Fortitude. If damage reduces the Bloater to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is from a critical hit. On a success, the Bloater Ddrops to 1 hit point instead.

Actions

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the target must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be pushed back 10 feet and be knocked prone.

Spore Bomb. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/90 one target. Hit: 10 (3d6) bludgeoning damage. The Spore bomb explodes in a 10 ft radius around the point of impact, spreading toxic spores. Any creature inside the radius when the bomb explodes or starts its turn there takes 10 (3d4 + 3) poison damage and must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become Infected.

While infected, a creature has 24 hours since the time of infection to be cured with magic such as Lesser Restoration or similar. After 24 hours, an infected creature may only be cured with magic such as Greater Restoration or similar. After the first 24 hours of infection, the infected creature has 1d6 days to cure its infection or die, after which the creature resurrects (if it is humanoid) as another Clicker (medium) or a Bloater (large) after 24 hours.

Reactions

Rush. Once per round if the Bloater detects creature with its Echolocation trait, it can use its reaction to dash towards the source and make one Slam attack.
