Description
Lapis dragons are calm and intense with a desire for the enlightened. They love Humidity and clear skied areas such as islands and peninsulas.
A Lapis dragon is a grand presence covered in dark blue scales which each have gold, brown, or white blemishes that shine as part of the stone. The dragon having a smooth, rounded head with the lower jaw being larger and more vicious than the rest of the head. The wings starting as smaller, weaker wings which then grow strong enough to lift the large mass of muscle that is the lapis dragon. The back having a large amount of scales that can rise and lower on the dragons body which assists it’s control in the water. The thick, scaled tail able to propel the dragon through the water with a hard thrust as the body slithers to make it easier to split through the water. The eyes of a lapis dragon is usually a pure white.
Friend to Monasteries. The lapis dragons sendom get to see those who follow the monastic traditions and monks. As such they can’t help but find themselves enthralled in how one who follows such a discipline shows and bears themself. The lapis dragon is fixated in the way other creatures can move their fragile, malleable bodies. In such ways that they improve the bodies to not be as fragile.
Due to this a Lapis dragon finds evolution and the change of a person to be fascinating. Similar to watching a pup grow up into a wolf. And if their stone will help a group of people or a single person self improve in such a way they more gift them with it, but doing so assures that they will visit you again in the future to see your development.
Dragons of Wisdom. These dragons seek the wisdom and clarity to improve themselves. Seeing the same desire in others makes it feel like the dragon is appreciated. They are the true leaders among the gemstone dragons. The guide those who live near seas and great lakes through divination and guidance. Often leading random people to greatness and to reach their potential.
In doing so they find treasures of those they have lead to be the most delicate prizes they could have. Only when one that has been lead by the dragon to greatness will receive a formal request to just send a treasure they have found back to the dragon as pay, and appreciation for the dragon.
