Anonymous is not actually immune to all damage but psychic damage but because wherever there is something they are not there but they are everywhere else, all empty spaces are filled by Anonymous. Because of this any physical spell can not touch it.
You can defeat Anonymous if every space in every plane and every place out of every space out of the different planes and in all parallel universes and other totally different . universes.
it has advantage on all checks to stay hidden because it is practically invisible (even to truesight) and advantage on all observation type checks
