Keen Hearing and Smell. The aralez has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Pack Tactics. The aralez has advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.
Evasion. When the aralez is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to only take half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
Divine Bite. The aralez's bite attack counts as a magical weapon for the purposes of overcoming resistances, and deals an additional 28 (5d8+6) radiant damage (included in the attack). If the target of the bite is a fiend, undead, or aberration, then it takes an addition 28 (5d8+6) radiant damage.
Divine Sense. The aralez knows the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 120 ft. of it that is not behind total cover. It knows the type of the creature, but not its identity. It can also detect if any item or location has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the Hallow spell.
Innate Spellcasting. The aralez's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17). The aralez can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material or somatic components:
- At will: bless, bane, command, detect magic, purify food and drink, searing smite, wrathful smite, branding smite
- 5/day each: protection from evil and good, prayer of healing, zone of truth
- 3/day each: dispel magic, remove curse, moonbeam
- 1/day each: banishment, death ward, plane shift (self only)
Multiattack. The aralez makes three bite attacks
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d8 + 2) piercing damage and and additional 28 (5d8 + 6) radiant damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Lick Wounds. The aralez licks the wounds of a creature within 5 feet of it, restoring 11 (2d6+4) hit points and ending one disease or condition it is suffering, as if the aralez cast the Lesser Restoration. If the target of this action is at 0 hit points but not dead, then they are restored with all actions on their next turn. If the target of this spell is at 0 hit points and is dead, then they are instead brought back to life but at 0 hit points, and are stabilized. A creature resurrected in this way cannot regain hit points with this ability for 24 hours.
Description
A celestial being that takes the appearance of a larger-than-average wolf with snow white, angelic wings with glowing, golden eyes. Aralezs are low-level angelic warriors, sent down from the Higher Planes to snuff out evil before it has the opportunity to take root. They often form hunting parties with each other, flying over the land in packs in search of those who pervert the divine order of the world. Some deities grant their champions an aralez as a companion, the lupine angel's healing abilities coming in handy for many an adventurer.
