Banishing. Any creature that takes damage from one of the bison's attacks while not already on the Ethereal Plane must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be shunted to the Ethereal Plane. At the end of each of the bison's turns, it repeats this saving throw, returning to the plane it was banished from on a success.
Ethereal Jaunt. As a bonus action, the bison can magically shift from the Material Plane to the Ethereal Plane, or vice versa.
Charge. If the bison moves 10 feet in a straight line towards a creature and then hits them with a Gore attack, that creature takes an additional 7 (2d6) piercing damage and must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and pushed 10 feet away.
Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (3d6 + 5) piercing damage.
Banishing Breath (Recharge 5-6). The bison breathes an off-white cloud in a 20-foot cone, forcing each creature in the area to succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be shunted to the Ethereal Plane. At the end of each of the bison's turns, it repeats this saving throw, returning to the plane it was banished from on a success. A creature already in the Ethereal Plane when affected by this cloud is instead banished to its native plane.
Description
The Banishing Bison is a bison granted the ability to travel to and from the ethereal plane, and banish other creatures to it by attacking them or breathing on them with its Banishing Breath. It lives on the Material Plane where it mostly does bison things like eating grass and rolling in soil, until something tries to attack it such as a pack of wolves. It is particularly suited to fighting groups of smaller foes, as it can banish them to the ethereal plane and then jaunt there to fight them one-on-one. How the banishing bison attained its ability is unknown.
