Keen Hearing and Smell: The ursa has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Pack Tactics: The ursa has advantage on an Attack roll against a creature if at least one of the ursa's allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn't Incapacitated.
Cause Fear: The Ursa can attempt to frighten up to 3 creatures within 40ft of it. The targeted creature(s) must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be Frightened for one minute, or until it succeeds the save on a subsequent turn.
Multiattack. The ursa makes three attacks: two with it's claws and one with its bite or slam.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: (4d12) piercing damage plus 2d4 necrotic damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 17). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the ursa can't bite another target.
Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: (5d10) slashing damage plus 7 necrotic damage.
Slam, Ranged Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 40ft., one target. Hit: (5d12) bludgeoning damage plus 4 necrotic damage. The targeted creature then must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Description
An Ursa Major is a much larger and uncommon creature than the Ursa Minor. Their build has much more muscle, better armor, and the, black fur, as well as white, bone-like masks with red detailing. The Ursa has boned spiked armor that stands on its back, head, and limbs. The Ursa Major possesses an angular head, prominent ears, and longer spikes at the ends of their mask. It has piercing red eyes that leave trails of red light as it moves and produces black smoke from their bodies.
