Description

“My name is irrelevant. I am AAFT’BTON, an Animal Activist for the Better Treatment of Nature.”

Formerly a dire bear animal companion to a ranger, when they began to grow older and were reaching the natural end of their life, they had a druid friend awaken the bear and release him into the wild to live out the rest of his life. Unfortunately, the bear felt lost and hopeless without the aim of their friend and were left to forge their own path.

In the time after their ranger companion's death, the bear took to nature more literally than most: teaching himself to be a druid through observation, experimentation, and the occasional theft, he became a guardian of nature and moreover, an activist for his fellow animals. Forsaking the name his former owner gave him, he decided to call himself by a title: an Animal Activist for the Better Treatment of Nature. In this, they awaken other animals, enlighten them and form a cognizant animal society far from civilization.
