Traits

Fey Ancestry. The spellbreaker has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic cannot put them to sleep.

Mage Slayer. The spellbreaker has practiced techniques in melee combat against spellcasters, gaining the following benefits:

  • When a creature within 5 feet of them casts a spell, they can use their reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.
  • When they damage a creature that is concentrating on a spell, that creature has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration.
  • The spellbreaker has advantage on saving throws against spells cast by creatures within 5 feet of them.
Actions

Multiattack. The knight makes three melee attacks; or uses Leadership and makes a single melee or ranged attack.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.

Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.

Leadership (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). For 1 minute, the knight can utter a special command or warning whenever a nonhostile creature that it can see within 30 feet of it makes an attack roll or a saving throw. The creature can add a d4 to its roll provided it can hear and understand the knight. A creature can benefit from only one Leadership die at a time. This effect ends if the knight is incapacitated.

Reactions

Vampiric Counterspell. The spellbreaker may cast counterspell at will as a reaction using its Intelligence as its spellcasting ability. When it does so, if the spell is successfully countered, the spellbreaker may heal a number of hit points equal to the spell's level and deal that same amount of damage back to the spellcaster as necrotic damage.

Description

Deprived of the magical energies that fueled High Elves for ages past, Blood Elves go to great lengths to bleed magically charged creatures to sate their addiction. None are quite so skilled as the Spellbreakers, Blood Elves trained to fight mages and turn their spells against them.
