When Asmogor is hit by an attack, each creature within a 60-foot radius must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 23). The creature takes 21 (6d6) force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Spells: Asmogor is capable of casting powerful and destructive spells. Some of his favorite spells include Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Legendary Shield, Wall of Force and Power Word Kill.

Multiattack. Asmogor can use his Frightful Presence and then make three attacks: two with his claws and one with his tail.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d6 + 10) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 27 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of Asmogor's choice within 120 feet of him and aware of him must succeed on a DC 26 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if Asmogor is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to Asmogor's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Chaos Breath (Recharge 5-6). Asmogor exhales destructive energy in a 120-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 91 (26d6) force damage, or half as much damage on a successful save.
- Sword of Ruin. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 36 (4d12 + 10) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) fire damage and the target must make a DC 23 Constitution saving throw, taking an additional 22 (4d10) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Chaos Incarnate. As a bonus action, Asmogor unleashes a terrible roar, filled with chaotic energy. All creatures of his choice that can hear him must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 26) or be confused until the end of their next turn.

Unleashed Blessing. As a bonus action Asmogor can cast his Fireball or Lightning Bolt spell, causing additional devastation in a shorter amount of time.

Chaotic Retaliation. When a creature makes a successful attack against Asmogor, he can retaliate with a sword or claw attack against that creature.

Shroud of Darkness. If Asmogor takes damage, he can use his reaction to release a shroud of magical smoke and darkness, granting him advantage on all attack rolls on his next turn.

Asmogor can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Asmogor regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Mad Laughter (Costs 2 Actions). Asmogor erupts in terrifying laughter. All creatures of his choice within a 60-foot radius must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 23) or be frightened until the end of their next turn.

Dimensional Rupture (Costs 3 Actions). Asmogor teleports to an unoccupied space within 120 feet, causing a blast of chaotic energy. Each creature within a 15-foot radius of the space that Asmogor left must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 23) or take 45 (10d8) force damage.

If Asmogor is reduced to 0 hit points, he can choose to expend a use of his Mythic Actions to come back to life with half of his hit points. Asmogor has 2 uses of Mythic Actions.

Apocalypse (Costs 1 Mythic Action). Asmogor unleashes a destructive explosion of chaotic energy. Each creature within 100 feet of him must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 26). The creature takes 40 (8d10) force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Abyss Chains (Costs 1 Mythic Action). Asmogor calls forth chains from the underworld to bind his enemies. Up to three creatures of his choice that he can see within 100 feet of him must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 26) or be restrained and incapacitated until the end of their next turn.
Description
Asmogor is an intimidating giant, a mountain of muscles marked by numerous battle scars. His skin is a dark, almost black red. His eyes are two intensely red flames burning in their sockets. He wears ebony armor that seems to be made of bones and metal, and wields two huge swords that radiate an ominous aura.

Asmogor's plane, The Plateau of Desolation, is a place of terror and despair. When fighting inside his lair, Asmogor can invoke the lair's power to take lair actions. Time around Asmogor warps and twists, and he can take one lair action at the start of each turn.

Creation of rifts. Fissures open up on the ground within 120 feet of Asmogor. Each creature of his choice in that area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 23) or fall into the fissure and take 21 (6d6) falling damage.

Calling forth a lava storm. Asmogor causes a volcano to erupt with molten rocks falling from the sky. Each creature of his choice in a 60-foot radius sphere centered on a point he can see within 120 feet of him must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 23) or take 35 (10d10) fire damage.

Explosion of chaos. Asmogor releases an explosion of chaotic energy. Each creature within 60 feet of him must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 23) or take 14 (4d6) force damage and be knocked prone. On a success, the creature takes half the damage and isn't knocked prone.
