Description
The enigmatic leader of the Cult of the Eclipsed Sun is a powerful and charismatic spellcaster known as Atrius Shadowbind. Atrius is a former mage who delved into forbidden arts, becoming obsessed with acquiring god-like powers. His charisma and cunning allowed him to amass a following drawn to the promise of unparalleled might and a new world order.
Atrius possesses a unique ability to tap into the corrupted celestial energies, allowing him to manipulate magic in ways that defy conventional understanding. His eyes glow with an eerie, dark radiance, a manifestation of the corrupted magic that courses through him.
The Corruption Ritual:
Atrius has devised a dark ritual known as the Rite of Umbral Convergence, designed to twist the natural celestial energies of the oasis into a corrupting force. The ritual involves using stolen Celestial Catalysts as conduits to channel the energies into a malevolent artifact called the Umbral Nexus, which amplifies and distorts the celestial magic.
The Rite of Umbral Convergence requires the sacrifice of willing or unwilling participants, whose life force is used to fuel the corruptive process. Atrius plans to perform this ritual during the celestial convergence, when the cosmic energies align.
