Innocent Aura. The Baby Giant Spider's innocence creates an aura that temporarily disarms suspicion. Once per day, the player may gain advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks with individuals who are delighted by the Baby Giant Spider's naive demeanor. Roll a d4 to determine if the individual is delighted or worried by the spider:
- 1-3 they are delighted.
- 4 they are worried.
Should an individual be worried, the player incurs disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks when interacting with that person.
Unassuming Charisma. The Baby Giant Spider worries about being perceived as manipulative or misunderstood should others discover its unintended charm. It works hard to conceal this ability, anxious about the potential fallout from its unintentional influence on those nearby.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (2d4 + 2) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 2 (2d4) poisoned damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Description
Baby Giant Spiders, in their endearing innocence, often possess a charm that defies their species' ominous reputation. With bodies adorned in iridescent hues contrasting their dark exoskeletons, their oversized eyes and clumsy movements exude an uncontainable curiosity and enthusiasm for exploration. Their attempts at communication through chirps and clicks, coupled with a harmless demeanor, paint them as unexpectedly lovable companions in the intricate world they navigate.
