Innate Spellcasting. Aelith’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, Spell Attack Modifier +8). Aelith can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: druidcraft, shillelagh, magic stone
3/day each: entangle, goodberry
2/day each: barkskin, pass without trace
1/day each: transport via plants (at will if returning to the same tree)
Magic Resistance. Aelith has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Speak with Beasts and Plants. Aelith can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language.
Tree Stride. Once on her turn, Aelith can use 10 feet of her movement to step magically into one living tree within her reach and emerge from a second living tree within 60 feet of the first tree, appearing in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the second tree. Both trees must be Large or bigger.
Tree Sending. While touching a tree, Aelith is able to cast the Message cantrip at any distance to a desired target if that target is also touching a tree. Alternatively, a target can send a message to Aelith by touching a tree, in which Aelith can respond back by touching a tree.
Coordinated Strike. As a veteran of many battles, Aelith is adept at fighting in concert with a companion. When Aelith uses her Helpful feature to aid an ally in attacking a creature, that target can be up to 30 feet away from Aelith, and Aelith can deal an extra 2d6 damage to it the next time she hits it with an attack roll before the end of the current turn. The extra damage is the same type of damage dealt by the attack.
Evasion. When Aelith is subjected to an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, she instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she failed. Aelith doesn't benefit from this feature while incapacitated.
Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit (+8 to hit with shillelagh), reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d6+3) bludgeoning damage, or 8 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage with shillelagh.
Fey Charm. Aelith targets one humanoid or beast that she can see within 30 feet of her. If the target can see Aelith, it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be magically charmed. The charmed creature regards Aelith as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected. Although the target isn’t under Aelith’s control, it takes Aelith’s requests or actions in the most favorable way it can.
Each time Aelith or her allies do anything harmful to the target, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success. Otherwise, the effect lasts 24 hours or until Aelith dies, is on a different plane of existence from the target, or ends the effect as a bonus action. If a target’s saving throw is successful, the target is immune to Aelith’s Fey Charm for the next 24 hours.
Aelith can have no more than one humanoid and up to three beasts charmed at a time.
Expert Cunning. Due to her expertise as an Eldeshar operative, Aelith can take the following actions as a bonus action: Dash, Disengage, Help and Hide.
Coordinated Strike (Help Action). As a veteran of many battles, Aelith is adept at fighting in concert with a companion. When Aelith uses the Help action, on her bonus action, to aid an ally in attacking a creature, that target can be up to 30 feet away from Aelith, and Aelith can deal an extra 2d6 damage to it the next time she hits it with an attack roll before the end of the current turn. The extra damage is the same type of damage dealt by the attack.
Bonus Action Spells. shillelagh, magic stone
Description
Agent of the Eldeshar. Aelith became an apprentice of the Eldeshar, an organization of covert fey guardians that protected the Seelie Kingdoms of the Feywild. Mentoring under the great Treant, Ezorwyn, Aelith soon became an agent and specialized in a special branch of cunning Dryads, completing many missions to thwart any destructive intentions of the Verdant Shade, the equivalent guardians of the Unseelie Court. With Lord Echeron now claiming dominion over many of the kingdoms of the Feywild and eliminating the ranks of the Eldeshar, Aelith has escaped into the Material Plane to remain in hiding while also seeking ways to reclaim the Eldeshar.
