Legendary Resistances (3/Day): If Aquanis fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Aquatic Being: Aquanis can breathe underwater and move through water without impediment.
Vortex Presence: Aquanis exudes a calming aura in a 60-foot radius. Friendly creatures within the radius gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened. Hostile creatures have disadvantage on attacks against Aquanis.
Hydrostrike: Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 44 (4d10 + 9) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be pushed 20 feet away from Aquanis.
Whirlpool Slam: Aquanis creates a whirlpool in a 40-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The affected area becomes difficult terrain until the end of Aquanis's next turn.
Aqueous Grasp: Aquanis can use its action to target one Large or smaller creature within 10 feet of it. The target must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be restrained by Aquanis's aqueous grasp. The restrained target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Aqueous Shield: When Aquanis is targeted by a melee attack, it can use its reaction to temporarily form a protective shield of water, gaining resistance to the triggering attack's damage.
Aquanis can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Aquanis regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Aqueous Tendrils: Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 9) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be grappled.
Whirlpool Movement: Aquanis moves up to half its swim speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Drenching Surge (Costs 2 Actions): Aquanis releases a surge of water in a 60-foot cone. Creatures in that area must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be pushed 30 feet away from Aquanis and take 33 (6d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
