Basset Hound Puppy - basset-flayer - (Mind flayer puppy)

Cuteness - The basset flayer put out an aura of charm; which puts characters at ease, save vs Charm when the puppy flayer first comes into view, (WIS save DC 15) on a failed save a character is unable to act against the basset-flayer  in the first round of combat

Creatures immune to charm are immune to this effect.  Should an entire party fail the save the Basset Flayer gets a full " Surprise round"

Mind sense;  The bassets can telepathically sense minds around them up to 60 feet.  they can therefore sense invisible or well stealthed creatures. They know they are there but not exact position

Action Name. Tentacle whip multi-attack; 2 per round single target

Action Melee Attack. Tentacle : +5 to hit, reach 5 ft.,   1D6 +4 Bludgeoning damage.  WIS Save DC 15  or Take an additional 2d10+ 8 psychic and become paralyzed  repeat save at the end of each of the paralyzed creatures turns 

Bonus Action;  Brian Extract Brain if a creature is hit with the tentacles and fails their wisdom saved, becoming paralyzed the Puppy-Flayer instantly gets a bonus action Attack to attempt to BrianScoop the creature.  they make an attach roll at advantage an do an additional 2d10+8 points of piecing damage, a character who falls below 0 HP during a "Extract Brain"  attempt by the puppy flayer is dead - all three save considered instant fails.  

* if a Creature has been paralyzed by the tentacles; the puppy cannot perform any action on subsequent round but an attempt to extract the brain.  they are single minded about this an will ignore all other actions and creatures.
