Subsume the Actor. The animated mask attempts to charm a target humanoid creature that is wearing it. The creature must make a charisma saving throw (DC 14) or be charmed by it until the animated mask is removed or destroyed. While charmed by the animated mask, a creature becomes a DM-controlled character under the complete influence of the animated mask. Another creature can attempt to remove the animated mask from its victim's face with an athletics (strength) check (DC 18). The creature must first be grappling the victim.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., # target. Hit: # (#1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Puppet Shield. As a reaction, whenever a creature wearing the animated mask takes damage from any source, the animated mask can project an energy shield to protect the wearer. That creature may roll 1d10+3 and subtract the total from the damage taken.
