Description

Abyss of Lies. The Wicked Queen of Envy is infamous for her lies and deceit across the realms. Tucked somewhere in between Zuggtmoy and Juiblex, Akinari converses with varying powerful beings including her fellow demon lords. She has particular opinions over all of them and ends up fighting them at least once before hiding out in her layers of the Abyss. Akinari is the Demon Queen of Foxes and her patrons are gifted powers over illusions, enchantments, fire, and lightning. Oddly enough, her and Fraz-Urb'luu have never crossed paths...

Seed of the Infernal Vixen. Akinari's origin is an enigma and cannot be pinned down from where in the Abyss did such a Demon Lord come from, sages cannot truly discover Akinari even if they were to venture into the foul depths of the plane. What is known however, is her creation of these fox-like fiends whose initial purpose was to gather magical energy from the world around them and return to Akinari for her tails to feed off of, killing her children to increase her own power, these fiends are often misinterpreted as lycanthropes for their appearance to other animals and the ability to change their shape into a much more feral form, their true name given to them by the Demon Lord is the Vul'zith.

The Vul'zith. The Vul'zith are Akinari's creation used with the help of the finest, and most depraved of wizards in a dark ritual to fuse her creation with the power of the long since extinct Obyriths. To finish her creation however, she enlisted the help of one of the most ancient remnants of the Obyrith empire, the Sibriex, who offered the knowledge to graft abyssal flesh into humanoid form for a high price. Akinari, being the manipulative and cunning trickster she was, did not wish to part with her gold nor her followers and did battle with the ancient creature by a whirlpool of blood with which Akinari drowned it in. This however came shortly after the Sibriex's retribution by forever malforming Akinari's creation, leaving them incomplete and left them in a state of never-ending rage and grief for what could have been...
