Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the Banana Dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack. The Banana Dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three attacks; one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10+7) piercing damage and if the target is standing on a solid surface, the creature's space is covered in banana pudding as described in the Banana Pudding Breath feature.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d6+7) slashing damage.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of the banana dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of the dragon for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Banana Dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Banana Pudding Breath (Recharge 5-6). . The dragon exhales banana pudding in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 55 (10d10) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Any solid surface within the area is covered in banana pudding for 1 minute. Areas covered in banana pudding are difficult terrain for the duration, and the banana pudding dissolves at the end of the duration. When a creature enters the area for the first time or ends its turn within, it must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 11 (2d10) acid damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, the damage is halved and the creature isn't knocked prone.
The banana dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Claw Attack. The banana dragon makes a claw attack.
Detect. The banana dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) Check.
Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The banana dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 10 feet of it must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (2d6+7) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The Banana Dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
Description
Mostly seen on the island of Lau Mau, Banana Dragons are noble and mighty creatures, often seen as protectors by the Foodfolk (Silverplate Exclusive). Banana Dragons like lush forests or jungles and prefer to build their lair on a vantage point that overlooks these areas. While they mostly eat fruits and vegetables, they have been known to hunt for beasts in extreme circumstances. They like to keep their distance from foodfolk, who they consider to be unpredictable and chaotic. On the other hand, legends tell of great heroes that fought alongside Banana Dragons and even rode them.
Dragon's Hoard. Banana Dragons hoard interesting plants, specifically those with magical traits. They like to build their own magical garden and will tend it for many years. Some of them even make unique potions that they add to their collection.
