Amphibious. The frog can breathe air and water.
Standing Leap. The frog's long jump is up to 20 feet and its high jump is up to 10 feet, with or without a running start.
Sticky Saliva. The frog receives disadvantage on Tongue Lashes and Retracts for one minute if its tongue has been successfully dealt acid damage.
Tongue Lash. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 12). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the frog can't tongue lash another target. The frog does not receive disadvantage on this attack due to the target's proximity.
Swallow. The frog makes one swallow attack against a Medium or smaller target it is grappling. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the frog, and it takes 6 (2d4 +1) acid damage at the start of each of the frog's turns. The frog can have only one Medium target or two small or smaller targets swallowed at a time. If the frog dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 5 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Retract. The frog pulls a grappled target up to 25 feet closer to them. Make a contested strength check with advantage. This advantage may be cancelled out at DM's discretion if the target is bracing themselves with a structure or another creature of sufficient size/strength is holding them in place.
Description
This is a modified Giant Frog. I wanted it to be able to swallow medium creatures, and use a sticky tongue rather than a bite to catch prey. I would greatly appreciate constructive comments as there's a decent chance that I don't have the numbers to match its CR, some flaw in mechanics, etc.
