Worker Bees. The bees living inside the hive repair it if the hive is damaged. The hive regains 10 (4d4) hit points at the start of each of its turns if it has at least 1 hit point. If the hive takes fire or cold damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the hive's next turn.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+4) bludgeoning damage.
Release Bee Swarm (3/Day). A swarm of bees appears in the hive's space. The swarm of bees is a swarm of insects with the following changes: the swarm of bees has a walking speed of 5 feet, a flying speed of 30 feet, and no climbing speed, it has 11 hit points, and its attacks deal half damage (rounded up). Roll initiative for the swarm, which has its own turns.
Description
When one large swarm of bees or several smaller ones come together, they can build an animated hive out of beeswax. The hive travels across flower fields and pine forests, taking the swarm to new resources. This method enables bees to form enormous swarms that would normally deplete the surrounding landscape of resources. The magic that animates the beeswax is a mystery of nature theorized to originate from innate cooperation of the numerous bees; though some scholars have also suggested that it is the result of the bees constructing very complex three-dimensional rune shapes with their hives.
