Traits

Agile Attacker. The Assassin does not provoke Opportunity Attacks against a creature it has damaged until the start of its next turn.

Evasion. If the assassin is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.

Delve in space. The assassin can enter the ground freely and move in it freely while in the ground the assassin has total cover when not attacking a creature but half cover when it’s attacking a creature. The assassin may not attack while in the ground.

Actions

Multi Attack. The assassin can attack up to six times with its sharp tentacles. Or attack once with its stab attack.

Sharp Tentacles. Melee Weapon Attack: + 7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) slashing damage

Stab. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 10 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d10 + 4) piercing damage. On hit the creature must succeed a 15DC STR saving throw or be punctured and restrained. The assassin can move underground with the restrained target and if so that creature takes (2d6) force damage for each 10ft that the assassin moves.

Bonus Actions

Cut off. The assassin makes a swipe like attack any creature within 15ft cone of the assassin makes a 18DC DEX saving throw taking 12 (3d8) slashing damage on a fail and half on a success.

Reactions

Self Destruct (Once).  the assassin runs up to a creature and explodes that creature and any other creature within 5ft of the target must succeed a 18DC DEX save or take (8d8) force damage on a fail and half on a success. If a creature is restrained by the assassin they automatically fail and the damage is doubled. The Assassin then vanishes and dies.
