Tunneler. The wandering oasis can burrow through solid rock at half its burrow speed and leaves a 10-foot-diameter tunnel in its wake.
False Appearance (Oasis). While the wandering oasis remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary watering hole.
Multiattack. The wandering oasis makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its lure.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d8 + 9) piercing damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw or be swallowed by the wandering oasis. A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the wandering oasis, and it takes 21 (6d6) acid damage at the start of each of the worm's turns.
If the wandering oasis takes 30 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the wandering oasis must succeed on a DC 21 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the wandering oasis. If the wandering oasis dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 20 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Lure. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 19 (3d6 + 9) bludgeoning damage,
Description
The wandering oasis is an ambush predator by nature, attracting prey by imitating watering holes. Indistinguishable from a normal watering hole, the wandering oasis will use a mirage to make itself look more enticing. They remain motionless, allowing prey to wander to it's shade. The living landmass will wait for it's prey to sleep before engulfing them and dragging it beneath the water.
"The Wandering Oasis is a living curse yet some worship the thing. Some cults glorify its eating as an omen of rebirth. They feed unwitting travelers to their divine herald and rejoice"

Lair and Lair Actions
The wandering oasis has no lair actions.
Regional Effects
Any of these effects might appear in the area around a wandering oasis’ lair, in addition to or instead of the effects described in the Monster Manual:
Mirage Terrain. The area immediately surrounding the Wandering Oasis appears to be a lush oasis. A creature carefully examining the illusion can attempt a DC 15 Intelligence (Investigation) check to disbelieve it. A creature who disbelieves the illusion sees it as a vague image superimposed on the underlying monster. Breaking the illusion does not reveal the wandering oasis.
Extreme Heat. The sun mercilessly beats down within 1 mile of the wandering oasis. Creatures within 1 mile of the wandering oasis suffer the effects of Extreme Heat as described in the Dungeon Master's Guide.
