Traits

Eerie mimicry. The Wendigo Spawn has an uncanny ability to copy noises and sounds it has heard. It cannot outright speak, but it can pass off as familiar muffles, urging its prey to get closer. A creature can discern these sounds as mimicry with a successful WIS insight check (DC 10).

Ambush. The Wendigo Spawn has advantage against suprised creatures, as it is known for stalking its prey and waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Actions

Multi-attack. The Wendigo Spawn can make 2 attacks per turn, twice with its claws.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) slashing damage.

Siphoning Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 6 (1d10 + 1) piercing damage. In addition, target must succeed on a CON saving throw (DC 13) or the Wendigo Spawn regains health points equal to the amount of piercing damage delt and target loses maximum health points equal to half of the amount of piercing damage delt rounded down, this penalty lasts until the target finishes a long rest.

Reactions

Opportunity Attack. When a creature willingly leaves the Wendigo Spawns attack range, the Wendigo Spawn can make a melee attack against the creature.

Description

This rabid and disgusting creature, whos skin is pale white, with ragged teeth, a skinny body, and a skeletal head... was once just any other human. These people for whatever reason, by nature of gluttony, depravity, or simply the will to live, partook in the act of cannibalism. Most cannibals are lucky enough to get sent to hell. But some... Some are chosen by a Wendigo, and these unfortunate corpses are forced to live again, in agony, in constant hunger. Now as a Wendigo Spawn, they stalk the forrests in search of a meal to fill their insatiable stomach, and use their alluring voice to guide their defenseless prey into their hunting grounds.
