Special Equipment. Cloak of protection.Walt has a +1 to his AC and all saving throws.

+2 Rod of the pact keeper. Walt has a +2 Rod of the pact keeper. As an action he can draw on the power of the rod to return a warlock pact slot.

Arcane Recovery (1/Day). When he finishes a short rest, Walt recovers all his spell slots of 5th level and lower.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Walt fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Spellcasting. Walt is a 20th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 22, +14 to hit with spell attacks). He can cast disguise self and invisibility at will. He can cast fly and lightning bolt once each without expending a spell slot, but can’t do so again until he finishes a short or long rest. Halaster has the following wizard spells prepared:

1st level (4 slots): Absorb elements, Shield, Detect Magic

Mind Shield- Any attempt to probe into Walt's mind automatically fails. Also any physic damage that Walt receives is reflected back on to the source of the damage.

Walt has 3 spell slots that can be used to cast any of his spells at 5th lv. These slots are returned on a short or long rest. Also walt has access to 2 mystic arcanums. These spells he can cast once per long rest without requiring a spell slot.

Walt can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Walt regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Cast Spell. Walt casts a spell of 3rd level or lower.

Spell Ward (Costs 2 Actions). Walt expends a spell slot of 4th level or lower and gains 5 temporary hit points per level of the slot.
