Puppet. Despite being an undead creature, Paul Bunyan, due to not having been resurrected by magical means, is immune to the effect of the "Turn Undead" feature.

Cleaver. Paul has a main attack that can target multiple creatures. When he does this, he rolls to hit once and applies the to hit roll to both creatures. If he has advantage on one, but not both, he does not roll to hit with advantage - he only gets advantage if he would have it on both creatures he's targeting.

Actions

Multiattack. Paul makes one cleave attack, one slam attack, and tosses one player (not necessarily in that order).

Cleave. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft., 1 target/2 targets within 5 feet of each other. Hit: 36 (4d12 + 10) slashing damage.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 15 ft. (thrown 60/80 ft.), 1 target. Hit: 23 (2d12 + 10) - bludgeoning damage if it's Bunyan's fist, bludgeoning/slashing/piercing damage if it's an improvised weapon.

Toss. Paul attempts to pick up and throw a creature he can see within 30 ft. That creature must make a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be picked up and tossed to any point within 60 feet. When they land, they take 17 (5d6) bludgeoning damage, and they fall prone.

Legendary Actions

Paul Bunyan can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Paul Bunyan regains spent legendary actions at the start of their turn.

Swipe. Paul Bunyan cleaves his axe in a 30 ft. cone in front of him. Anyone in the area must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw, taking 36 (4d12 + 10) slashing damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.

Earthquake. Paul Bunyan drags his axe through the ground, ripping the stonework asunder and causing the earth to shudder in pain. Anyone in a 30 ft. long, 5 ft. wide line in front of Paul must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, or fall into the crack, becoming restrained. A creature restrained this way can make a DC 20 Strength check as a bonus action on their turn to attempt to escape, and takes 11 (2d10) bludgeoning damage at the start of each turn they're in the crack.

Immediately after this cleaving effect, any creature within 60 feet of the effect must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they are knocked prone, and lose concentration on any spells they have up.

Rupture. Paul Bunyan stomps, causing the world around him to erupt. Trees sprout from the earth, jagged spines of stone and solid clay crack the ground apart, and any loose earth becomes a swampy quagmire. Anyone within 60 ft. must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, taking 20 (8d4) piercing damage on a failure or half as much on a success.

Additionally, everywhere within 60 ft. of Bunyan is treated as if under the effects of a spike growth spell for every creature not of gargantuan size (meaning that the area is difficult terrain, and creatures moving in the area take 2d4 piercing damage for every 5 feet they travel along the ground).
