Traits

Overkill. The power of your attacks are too strong for your form to handle. Any damage you deal with rending claw also damages you. If this damage kills the form, it does not pass over to Atticus.

Hunger. The call for more is always there. At the start of each of your turns, make a  13DC WIS saving throw. On a failure, you must attack the creature closest to you, whether it be friend or foe. With every creature you kill in this form, the DC is increased by one.

Actions

Multiattack. The Avator of Ooth'or can take two melee attacks per turn, but can use its Maw only once.

Rending Claw. Melee Weapon Attack, +6 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 2d8 + 4 Necrotic damage.

Maw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 4 Necrotic damage. On a successful hit, the creature is swallowed, and takes 2d10 +4 Necrotic damage per turn. Can only target prone creatures and creatures that are smaller than yourself. A creature can escape through a 15DC Strength Saving Throw.

Reactions

Opportunity Attack. When a creature leaves your attack range, you can make one rending claw attack at them.

Description

Atticus's form explodes, turning into a large half-human half-abolethmade up of an inky-black magical essence, with pieces of Atticus's flesh floating within, connected by ethereal chains to his soul, in the middle of the humanoid chest, above the aboleths maw.
