Bishaten Fruit. Bishaten hoards and stores several special fruit with varying properties. It frequently uses these fruit to attack enemies. Bishaten Fruit loses its magical properties, including any effects, after 10 minutes when not in the Bishaten's possession.

Belly Pouch. The bishaten has a large pouch that contains 30 random types of fruit. It can collect new fruit to replace any missing fruit when it finishes a long rest.

When the bishaten is knocked prone, it must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or have 3 (1d6) fruits fall out of its pouch and land in a random space within 10 feet of it. A creature can pick up this fruit and eat it or throw it (using the same range, damage, and effect as the bishaten's fruit throw) as an improvised weapon.

Springtail Stance. The Bishaten raises itself up on its tail; while in Springtail Stance its walking speed becomes 10ft, its Claw Swipe attack gains the Reach property and its AC is improved by +2. If the Bishaten uses Tail Slam, it is no longer in Springtail Stance. If an attack roll 'crits' or beats the Bishaten's AC by 5+, the Bishaten falls down and becomes Dazed for 1 turn.

Glide. When the bishaten falls and isn't incapacitated, it can subtract up to 100 feet from the fall when calculating falling damage, and it can move up to 2 feet horizontally for every 1 foot it descends.

Disengage. When the bishaten takes the Disengage action, it may throw one Orange Fruit as per the Fruit Toss action, as part of that action.

Actions

Multiattack. The bishaten makes two attacks with its Claw Swipes and one Tail Slam.

Claw Swipes. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Tail Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Fruit Toss. The bishaten throws 3 of the following fruits (Roll 3d6: Green 1-2, Orange 3-4, Purple 5, Yellow 6, or choose any 3) at different hostile targets within range (repeating targets if no other targets are available);
1. Green Fruit (ParaFruit). Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of its next turn.
2. Orange Fruit (Jumbo Fruit). Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage and the target regains 7 (2d4 + 2) hit points.
3. Purple Fruit (PoisFruit, Only 1 per Fruit Toss). Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. A poisoned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the poison on itself on a success.
4. Yellow Fruit (Flash Fruit, Only 1 per Fruit Toss). The bishaten throws a flashing yellow fruit at the target creature within 120 feet of it before it explodes in a blinding flash. The target and each creature within 10 feet of it must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. A blinded creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the blindness on itself on a success.

Legendary Actions

The bishaten can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The bishaten regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Whirlwind Dash (Springtail Stance only, Recharge 5-6) - Bishaten winds up by twisting its body as it stands on its tail. It then dashes forward while spinning violently. The Bishaten does not take attacks of opportunity when moving out of creature's range with this ability.

The Bishaten charges in a straight line, 40ft long and 10ft wide, moving in the chosen direction until they collide with an obstacle or move up to 40ft. If the Bishaten moves through a creature’s space, that creature must make a DC 15 Strength or Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes 16 (3d10) bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. If the Bishaten collides with a solid object, like a thick wall, they take 16 (3d10) bludgeoning damage and lose one unspent legendary action (regaining it as normal at the start of their next turn).

Description

The bishaten is a fanged beast with an odd body shape. Its body is covered mainly in cream-colored fur, while its arms and legs are covered in blue fur. Similar to the kecha wacha, bishaten has patagia on its arms, supported by a single wing finger and covered
by cyan-colored feathers, effectively forming wings that it can glide around with. The most peculiar feature of bishaten is its "fifth limb". The bishaten has a very strong tail that can support its own weight, similar to great maccao and somnacanth. Its tail also ends
in a hand. On the belly is a pouch that the bishaten uses to store large amounts of fruits of various kinds.
The bishaten is omnivorous, but it has a preference for fruits. It tends to keep large amounts of various fruits within its belly pouch to eat or throw as a means to attack its adversaries. The bishaten is a very curious monster, and often enjoys playing pranks and tricks on people or prey alike. Bishaten is incredibly acrobatic, capable of performing several moves involving spinning its whole body. It is capable of standing on its tail for a very long time and uses its tail to attack or throw a fruit at its enemies.
