Aquatic. The Bubblefish cannot survive more than 2 minutes outside of it's little bubble of water.
Water Affinity Aura. The bubblefish grants an aura of water breathing to any creature within 10ft of it. As if the area was breathable air.
Bubble Stream. Ranged Spell Attack: range 20ft., 1 target. Target must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of their next turn.
Pop. The Bubblefish pops it's bubble, and with it, disappears temporarily back to it's home plane. On it's next turn it can appear back in it's bubble in an unoccupied space up to 30ft away from where it disappeared.
L'il Roll. When targeted by an attack the Bubblefish can do a l'il roll in it's bubble, being absolutely adorable. The attacker must make a DC 13 wisdom saving throw or automatically fail their attack roll against the bubblefish.
Description
It can look like a goldfish, a tropical fish, a koi fish, any type of fish really! What's clear though, is that this fish floats around in a bubble of sorts, in a controlled pond of water, just big enough for the fish and a little bit of swimming. In this bubble the fish swim, and can move the bubble as if they're just moving in water.
These critters make adorable companions, and are a magical sight for anyone who manages to come across them in the realms.
