Shapechanger. The werecougar can use its action to polymorph into a cougar-humanoid hybrid or into a cougar, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Werecougar. The following information only applies to you when you are in hybrid or cougar form.
- Sensitive Hearing. The werecougar has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing. However, you also gain vulnerability to Thunder damage.
- Ambush Hunter. You gain proficiency in Stealth.
- Night Prowler. You gain Darkvision up to 120ft. You can see in dim light within the radius as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Multiattack. (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only). The werecougar makes two attacks: two with its weapon (humanoid form) or one with its bite and one with its claws (hybrid form).
Bite. (Cougar or Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werecougar lycanthropy.
Claws. (Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 3) slashing damage.
Weapon Attack. (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only).
