Godblades Altair&Alya Arikian still wields his legendary greatswords from his time as one of the strongest Celestials to have ever existed before his fall. Arikian's weapon attacks are magical. When Arikian hits with a weapon attack, the weapon deals an extra 8d10 radiant damage or 5d8 force damage (included in the attack).
Master of the Sword when making a melee weapon attack against a creature equipped with any kind of sword Arikian rolls with advantage, on a natural 20 Arikian makes another melee weapon attack as a free action against the same target immediately. If that melee weapon attack is also a natural 20, attack again but also make an offhand weapon attack in addition to the main hand melee weapon attack. When a creature makes a melee weapon attack with any kind of sword against Arikian they roll with disadvantage.
Godly Might Arikian was one of the greatest angels to ever pick up a sword, so dedicated to the sword was he that he taught himself to do the impossible. He is able to wield a greatsword with one hand, and wields one in each hand with an amount of grace and skill a mortal could never hope to achieve with regular sized blades. Arikian suffers no penalties for making a melee weapon attack with his offhand greatsword Alya allowing him to attack with it as an action.
Prideful Duelist While there is only one creature within a 30-foot radius of Arikian or Arikian is in a situation that qualifies as a one on one duel Arikian may make two melee weapon attacks as free actions per turn against that creature and imposes disadvantage against that creature's melee weapon attacks against Arikian. If there is an audience Arikian gets two extra bonus actions per turn.
Magic Resistance Arikian lost almost all of his spellcasting ability when he fell, but he managed to retain his Celestial resistance to magic. He has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Healing Touch Arikian places his hand on another creature, using some of what little spellcasting ability he retained after his fall to heal the target. The target magically regains 75 (7d12 + 30) hit points.
Legendary Resistance (4/Day) If Arikian fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack Arikian makes six melee weapon attacks.
Altair Melee Weapon Attack: +30 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 31 (6d6 + 10) [slashing] damage plus 44 (8d10) radiant damage.
Alya Melee Weapon Attack: +30 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 31 (6d6 + 10) [slashing] damage plus 22 (5d8) force damage.
Stars Align Melee Weapon Attack, uses bonus action +15 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 98 (12d12 + 20) [slashing] damage plus 44 (8d10) radiant damage and 22 (5d8) force damage.
Arikian will almost always make an offhand melee weapon attack if he can or if it is situationally appropriate unless he sees a possible kill with 'stars align'. His offhand weapon is the greatsword Alya. Check 'Actions' for Alya's stats. Otherwise he will use his bonus action(s) to gain a tactical advantage, or assist his allies.
No equal with a sword When a creature making a melee weapon attack with any kind of sword against Arikian matches Arikian's AC or beats it by one Arikian may use his reaction to parry, reducing the damage of the attack by 75% (rounded up) and immediately parries making a melee weapon attack against his attacker.
Arikian can take 5 legendary actions , choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time unless otherwise specified and only at the end of another creature's turn. Arikian regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn unless otherwise specified.
Duelist's Instincts (Costs 1 Action). Arikian targets one creature within 45 ft. wielding a melee weapon and reads their body language applying his centuries of combat experience in that short moment. If that creature makes a melee weapon attack against Arikian during their next turn Arikian will automatically parry unless they roll a natural 20 or otherwise critically strike reducing damage by 75% and immediately making a melee weapon attack against them with advantage. If the target rolled a natural 1 against Arikian, Arikian's melee weapon attack automatically critically strikes.
Shooting Stars (Costs 3 Actions) Arikian calls on his limited spellcasting ability to make two ranged weapon attacks, throwing Altair&Alya at up to two targets. Stats for the attack are the same, only they are ranged weapon attacks with a reach of 30 ft. instead of melee weapon attacks. Altair&Alya return to Arikian's hands after the attack, this cannot be prevented by any means unless they are destroyed by magical means.
Starfall (Costs 5 Actions) A slight glimpse into a fraction of the immense power Arikian once possessed, he moves and jumps at blinding speed inside a radius of 75 ft. making two melee weapon attacks against up to five creatures inside the 75 ft. radius. on a natural 20 instead of applying critical damage 1 legendary action is refunded. After the melee attacks are dealt Arikian may land on any unoccupied space inside the 75 ft. radius. If Starfall knocks one target to 0 hit points Arikian automatically uses Shooting Stars at no cost against the creature with the lowest hit points in range, other than the creature at 0 hit points. If the only available target is the creature at 0 hit points Shooting Stars will execute them and 2 legendary actions are refunded.

Description
Once an angel, a planetar, Arikian served faithfully and executed his duties with aplomb. Over many centuries Arikian honed and developed his skill with swords all in the name of slaying evil. Eventually Arikian's strength grew so great that he started to rival the very god he served. Arikian took great pride in the power and skill he amassed, he would gloat and brag to whoever would listen often claiming that his might was so great he too could become a god if he so wished.
Eventually other angels stopped associating with Arikian, looking down on him and his prideful nature, whispering to each other as he passed. This lasted for centuries, and over those centuries resentment grew in Arikian. He knew he was better than them, stronger, faster, more skilled. Who were they to shun him? to look down on him? They were beneath him!
It grew to a head one day, when a young deva had the nerve to make a snide comment under their breath as he passed. This was too much, Arikian would not stand to be insulted by a mere Deva. In less than a second the Deva's head was rolling on the ground.
For his trensgression Arikian lost most of his divine power, and his wings. No longer was Arikian a Celestial, but neither was he mortal. A token given by his diety in recognition for his service. He was banished for all eternity, and sent to the mortal realm to languish until the end times. With no hope for redemption, but having realized just what he had become after it was too late Arikian wanders the lands of men providing aid where he can in hopes of atoning for his cold blooded murder and passing down his knowledge of the blade.
Arikian is a human male standing at 6 ft 4 in with an athletic physique wearing tattered clothes with a thick leather cloak to protect him from the elements and serve as a blanket when sleeping under the stars. His hair is shoulder length and windswept from his time on the road and his facial hair is rugged and unkempt. his eye color, hair color, and skin tone can be decided by the gm.
