Illumination. The beetle sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d6 − 1) slashing damage.

Horn Charge. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.

Shimmering Carapace (1/Day) The Aelu'sha Beetle's exoskeleton shimmers with vibrant light. Each creature within 10 feet of the beetle must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the beetle for 1 minute. A creature charmed in this way regards the beetle as a friendly ally. The charmed creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Description

These small, iridescent beetles are often found in places where the Material Plane and the Feywild intersect. Their vibrant carapaces pulse with a soft, otherworldly glow, hinting at their fey origins. Aelu'sha Beetles possess a single, sharp horn protruding from their heads, which they use primarily for defense or foraging. Though not overtly aggressive, they can deliver a surprisingly powerful charge for their size.
