Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the waldgeist fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Call of the Treant (1/Day). The waldgiest magically sends a call to other protectors of the forest. Whilst within their grove, the waldgiest can calls a treant. The treant arrive in 1d4 rounds, acting as allies of the waldgiest and obaying the spoken commands. The Treant remains for 1 hour, until the waldgiest dies, or the waldgiest dismisses them as a bonus action.

Speak with Beasts and Plants. The waldgiest can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language.

Plant Rejuvenation (1/Day) As a bonus action, the waldgeist can heal plant creatures within 30 feet of it for 5d8+5 hit points.

Magic Resistance. The waldgeist has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Tree Stride. Once on their turn, the waldgeist can use 10 feet of their movement to step magically into one living tree or treant within their reach and emerge from a second living tree within 60 feet of the first tree, appearing in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the second tree. Both trees must be Large or bigger.

Actions

Multiattack. The waldgeist makes two thorn blade attacks. It can replace the thorn blade attacks with a use of Spellcasting

Thron Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage plus 21 (6d6) poison damage.

Spellcasting. The waldgeist casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 17, +9):

At will: primal savagery(11th Level),thorn whip(11th Level),plant growthcommune with nature, druidcraft

3/day each: faerie fire, entangle, hallucinatory terrain, grasping vine

1/day each: wrath of nature, awaken, earthbind, greater restoration, plane shift(feywild only), goodberry, spike growth

Legendary Actions

The waldgeist can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The Waldgeist regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Move. The waldgiest moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Thorn Blade. The Waldgiest makes one thorn blade attack

Description

Waldgeists are ancient noble Fey who were once the tenderes to the groves within the Feywild. Leaving the protection of their groves in the Feywild they don a wooden mask, enshroud themselves in robes made of vines, and craft special blades made from the wood of the trees from the Feywild.

The Call of the Ancients . The Waldgeist whilst within the Feywild heard the calls of ancient forests in the material plane yearning for protectors. These noble Fey abandon their groves within the Feywild to venture into the material plane to safeguard the grandure of woodlands that could not fend for themselves.

Guardians of the Groves. After finding their ancient forest the Waldgeist becomes the guardian of the grove. Though powerful the Waldgeist are not narcissistic and know they need assitance protecting their woodlands employing the use of treants and other awakened plants.

Ancient Wisdom. Waldgeist carry centuries of wisdom and knowledge that extends beyond the mundane. Many druidsm ranges and scholars seek them out to learn from their deep well of knowledge. Waldgeist though patient teachers won't bestow the knowledge on those it doesn't deem worthy.
