Arcana Domain. Claire gains two cantrips of her choice from the wizard spell list (included in her spellcasting). For her, these cantrips count as cleric cantrips.
Eldritch Adept (Armor of Shadows). Claire can cast mage armor at will, without expending a spell slot or material components.
Folk Hero. Claire is proficient with cook's utensils and land vehicles. She also can find a place to hide, rest, or recuperate among other commoners, unless she has shown herself to be a danger to them. They will shield her from the law or anyone else searching for her, though they will not risk their lives for her.
Spellcasting. Claire is a 1st-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). Claire has following cleric spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): guidance, light, prestidigitation, shocking grasp, toll the dead
1st level (2 slots): bless, cure wounds, detect magic, healing word, magic missile, shield of faith
Buckler. Improvised Weapon Attack: -1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 (1d4-1) bludgeoning damage.
Shocking Grasp. Melee Spell Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Claire has advantage on the attack roll if the target is wearing armor made of metal. Hit: 4 (1d8) lightning damage and the target can't take reactions until the start of its next turn.
Description
Claire is a traveling cleric who worships Eilistraee, skyclad goddess of freedom and beauty. So fervent is her faith that she seeks out adventure wearing literally only a buckler (with embedded holy symbol), eager to devote her aid to any allies willing to accept her unconventional state of dress.

Posted Jan 26, 2026This is a fun one. Skyclad adventurers are a favorite archetype of mine. A variation I'd suggest is making her a Tiefling. With the precedent set by the Infernal Constitution feat from Xanathar's, you could justify giving her both fire and cold resistance. This effectively gives her a resistance to extreme environments, according to the DMG. The DMG also uses a cleric gaining Unarmored Defense (Wisdom) in exchange for their armor proficiencies as an example of alternate character features, so there is precedent for her having UD, too.
