Keen Sight and Smell. The Dire Bear has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight or smell.
Ursine Might. The Dire Bear has advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks.
Multiattack. The Dire Bear makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage.
Roar (Recharge 5-6). As a bonus action, the Dire Bear can let out a menacing roar. Hostile creatures within 20 feet of the Dire Bear that can hear the Roar must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of the Dire Bear for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a target’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the target is immune to the Dire Bear's Roar for the next 24 hours.
Description
