False Appearance. While the tumbleweed remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal tumbleweed.
Windsurfer. If the tumbleweed is moving in the same direction as the wind (if there is any), its speed is doubled. If you are unsure whether this would be the case, roll 1d4. 1 or 2 means the wind is moving in the same direction, 3 or 4 means wind is either not present or not facing the same direction.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 1 (1d4 − 1) piercing damage.
Description
An awakened tumbleweed is an ordinary tumbleweed given sentience and mobility by the awaken spell or similar magic.
The centre of the tumbleweed is unusually dark, obscuring the inner-workings of the magic. All that is seen are two bright yellow orbs, which act as the monsters eyes.
While an Awakened Tumbleweed is unlikely to pose a great threat to even the most inexperienced adventurers, the battle will certainly be remembered, as their seeds stick to clothes and hair easily and are annoyingly difficult to remove.
