Axelandic Icewing

Flyby. The icewing doesn’t provoke an opportunity attack when it flies out of an enemy’s reach.

Frigid Aura. All creatures that begin their turn within 10 feet of the icewing roll a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take 9 (3d6) Cold damage. All creatures that begin their turn within 10 feet of the icewing have resistance to fire damage.

Keen Sight. The icewing has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Multiattack. The icewing makes three attacks, one using its beak and two using its talons.

Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d12 + 5) piercing damage plus 9 (3d6) cold damage.

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 9 (3d6) cold damage.

Frozen Gust (recharge 5-6). The icewing flaps its massive and powerful wings, blowing wind and ice in a 60-foot line that is 10 feet wide. All creatures in the line must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 16 (4d8) bludgeoning damage, 12 (4d6) cold damage or half as much on a successful one. Any large or smaller creature is blown back 20 feet and falls prone on a failed saving throw, and is blown back 5 feet and does not fall prone on a successful one.

Frozen Shield. When a creature that the icewing can see makes an attack roll against it, the icewing can form a coat of ice around itself, granting it a +4 bonus to its AC against the attack. After the attack hits or misses, the ice shatters, and each creature within 5 feet of the icewing must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 9 (3d6) cold damage.
