Hellish Enlarge/Reduce. As an action, the Hell Dog can reduce its size to Medium. In this form, it shapeshifts to the size, weight, and appearance of a Mastiff. It can use this ability once per short rest.

Infernal Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d6) piercing damage plus 4 fire damage. The Hell Dog cannot use this attack when it is in its Reduced form. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Description
Ardor, Hell Dog is a servant of the Archdevil Bel and has been granted to Ziel as a boon. She has been instructed to follow Ziel's commands, though she retains her free will.
Appearance. In her ordinary form, she appears like an enormous, massively muscular black dog with bristling fur, infernal red eyes, spines at the shoulders and haunches, and a mouth full of flames.
History. Long ago, she was an Elf who signed an infernal contract with Bel. One of the terms of the contract was that she would become a servant of Bel after her death. When she died in combat, her soul was drawn to Avernus, and Bel maliciously transformed her into a dog and now forces her to serve his servants.
She has unhappily served sixteen other cultists of Bel to date and has grown quite tired of the task. Unfortunately for her, her contract cannot be broken, and death merely draws her back to Avernus to return to servitude.
Personality. She is miserable with her life, but has learned to accept it with a sigh, some sarcasm, and as much hedonistic laziness as she can get away with. She has no fear of death, and in fact her greatest wish is to obtain a true death, an infinite oblivion. She serves Ziel for fear of the torments that Bel will inflict upon her if she is unfaithful to his commands.
