Spider Climb. The spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the spider knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.
Web Walker. The spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 20 (4d8 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 11 Constitution saving throw, taking 17 (4d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
Web (Recharge 5–6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 15 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
Instill Fear. The Bamboo Spider projects an image of a creature’s worst fears using it's abdomen. Each creature in a 30-foot cone must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or drop whatever it is holding and become frightened.
While frightened by this ability, a creature must take the Dash action and move away by the safest available route on each of its turns, unless there is nowhere to move. If the creature ends its turn in a location where it doesn’t have line of sight to the Bamboo Spider, the creature can make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a successful save, the frightened condition ends.

Description
The Bamboo spider hunts its prey by mimicking its surroundings, adjusting the texture of its legs to blend in. While it remains completely still, it is nearly impossible to tell it apart from its habitat. It's body is covered in a thin layer of moss like fur, that lets it seamlessly blend in to ground cover, adding to it's camouflaged nature. Using it's huge compound eyes, it can detect even the slightest movement. It patiently hunts its prey by luring them in close using strategically placed webs, funneling prey towards its hiding place by making certain areas surrounding it impassable. If the spider is somehow discovered, it can use alter the fur on it abdomen to seemingly project an psionic image, causing a fear like state, and forcing any would be attacker to flee.
