Traits
Wounded Fury. While it has half or fewer hit points, the Alpha Zaredei has advantage on attack rolls. In addition, it deals an extra 7 (2d6) damage to any target it hits with a melee attack.
Thick Fat. The Alpha Zaredei has resistance against cold and fire damage.
Actions
Multiattack. The Zaredei makes two claw attacks.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage.
Pounce (Primal Rage only). Ranged Attack. reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 26 (4d12) bludgeoning damage. The Zaredei leaps onto a target it can see within 30 feet. The target must make a DC16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and grappled. On a success, the creature takes half damage and is not prone or grappled. All creatures within 10 feet of the Alpha Zaradei when it pounces must make a DC16 strength saving throw or fall prone. The leap does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Bite (Primal Rage only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) poison damage. The target must make a DC 15 Con save or become poisoned for 1 hour.
Bonus Actions
Primal Might. As a bonus action, the Zaredei can grow twice its height. While enlarged, it adds an extra 1d6 to melee damage, resists all bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage, and gains advantage on str, dex and con saving throws.
Command. The Alpha Zaredei commands another Zaredei within 30 feet to move half its speed (round down), and make a claw attack. This uses the Zaredeis reaction.
