Traits

Air Form. The elemental can enter a hostile creature's space and stop there. It can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Actions

Multiattack. The elemental makes two slam attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

Whirlwind (Recharge 4–6). Each creature in the elemental's space must make a DC 11 Strength saving throw. On a failure, a target takes 12 (3d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage and is flung up 20 feet away from the elemental in a random direction and knocked prone. If a thrown target strikes an object, such as a wall or floor, the target takes 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it was thrown. If the target is thrown at another creature, that creature must succeed on a DC 11 Dexterity saving throw or take the same damage and be knocked prone.

If the saving throw is successful, the target takes half the bludgeoning damage and isn't flung away or knocked prone.

Reactions

Protective Sense: Once per Battle. The Air elemental kid can choose to protect the parental creature with his whirly wind body. As a reaction, the Air elemental kid surrounds his parental creature and protect him from one melee, range or spell attack. Melee and Range attacks drops down to 0 damage and the spell attacks damage halved and hits the Air Elemental kid instead of the parental creature.

Description

An air elemental is a funneling cloud of whirling air with a vague semblance of a face. It can turn itself into a screaming cyclone, creating a whirlwind that batters creatures even as it flings them away.

Parental Instincts: The Air Elemental Child has formed a bond with a specific creature, towards which it develops parental feelings. This connection may have been forged through a fateful event, a debt of life, or a formative experience. The Air Elemental Child will strive to live up to the expectations of the parental creature and will only accept guidance from it. The selection of the parental creature is determined by a kind, friendly, loving gesture, which it has observed from the chosen creature's lifestyle.

Aging: The Air Elemental Child can only mature by merging with another Air Elemental in the Plane of Air. Education or the passage of time has no effect on the elemental's growth.
