Multiattack: The Bloodroot Behemoth makes two slam attacks.
Slam: Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) bludgeoning damage.
Bloodroot Surge (Recharge 5-6): The Bloodroot Behemoth slams the ground, causing thorny bloodroot vines to surge upward in a 20-foot radius centered on itself. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Strength check. On a failed save, a creature takes 17 (3d8+4) bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and remains standing.
Description
Bloodroot Behemoths are towering masses of gnarled wood, thorny vines, and pulsating sap veins, standing between 8 and 11 feet tall. Their forms are vaguely humanoid but bloated and twisted, with large, root-like appendages that can crush stone and metal. Their eyes are deep wells of shining blood-red sap, and their mouths are gaping maws filled with wooden fangs.
The Behemoths are large and slow, but devastatingly powerful. They engage directly in the heart of battle, using sheer size and strength to overpower foes.
