Fey Ancestry. The apostle has advantage on all checks made to charm it.
Honour Mode. during the first round of combat, you can choose to use its honour mode stats. If you choose to do this, the Apostle of Myrkul's Tactician Mode trait activates, and it can use the options listed in the “Mythic Actions” section. Award a party an additional 2,100 XP (9,200 XP total) for defeating the grym while using the honour mode stats.
Immutable Form. The apostle is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form. Additionally, it gains a +5 to any roll made to banish it.
Myrkul's Presence. Every creature within 165 ft. of the apostle is unable to regain hit points if they weren't unable to already. Additionally, any undead that isn't friendly to the apostle has disadvantage on attack rolls.
Tactician Mode. during the first round of combat, you can choose to use its tactician mode stats. If you choose to do this, the Apostle of Myrkul's current Hit point total is set to 370 hit points, and it can use the options listed in the “Legendary Actions” section. Award a party an additional 2,100 XP (7,100 XP total) for defeating the grym while using the tactician mode stats.
Unusual Nature. The apostle doesn’t require air, food, drink, or sleep.
Multiattack. The apostle can make two attacks on its turn, provided that the first attack hits. this doesn't apply to the apostle's Consume the Faithful action.
Call of the Damned. The apostle of myrkul speaks a command whispered into its ear from Myrkul. Each creature within 165 ft. of it must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw or take 16 (3d10) necrotic damage and be pulled as close to the apostle as possible.
Consume the Faithful. The apostle can consume as many allied undead with a CR of 5 or lower within 165 ft. of it as it wants, then cast Finger of Death on a number of creatures equal to the number of undead creatures killed this way.
Cold Embrace. Melee Unarmed Strike: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 9 (2d8) slashing damage, plus an additional 14 (4d6) cold damage.
Scythe of Myrkul. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 17 (2d12+4) slashing damage, and allied undead within 165 ft. of the apostle have advantage on attack rolls against that target.
Gaze of the Dead. The apostle casts its empty eyes at a creature within 100 ft. of it. It must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take 18 (4d8) necrotic damage and become Frightened.
Reaper's Scythe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft./15 ft., 3 targets. Hit: 17 (2d12+4) slashing damage, plus an additional 10 (3d6) necrotic damage, and all creature’s hit by this attack are sent 10 ft. Away from the apostle.
If the Apostle of Myrkul's Tactician Mode trait was activated during the first round of combat, it gains the listed trait below.
Legendary Resistance: Incapacitation. The apostle gains an additional +10 to all checks and saving throws made to incapacitate it.
If the Apostle of Myrkul's Honour Mode trait was activated during the first round of combat, it can use the listed option below as a legendary action, and cannot use it on it's own turn.
Gaze of the Dead. If the apostle has been hit by an attack this turn, it can use it's reaction to use its Gaze of the Dead attack. The apostle must wait 1 turn before using this legendary action again.
