Magic Resistance. The Avatar has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The Avatar's weapon attacks are magical.
Legendary Resistance (1/day). When the Avatar fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Ophidiophobia Aura. Any creature of avatar’s choice, other than a snake or a yuan-ti, that starts its turn within 30 feet of the avatar and can see or hear it must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of snakes and yuan-ti. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a target’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the target is immune to this aura for the next 24 hours.
Spellcasting. The avatar's spellcasting ability is Charisma (Spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells without material components.
At will: friendship with animals (snakes only)
3/day each: darkness, entangle, fear, suggestion, polymorph
1/day: divine word
Multiattack. The Avatar makes one with its greatsword and either uses sin's temptation or sinful aspect.
Greatsword (overhead slam or thrust). Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 20 ft., all targets in a 20 foot line that's 5 feet wide (one attack roll for all targets). Hit: 36 (8d6 + 8) slashing damage plus 9 (2d8) necrotic damage. All creatures hit by this attack must succeed in a DC 18 Strength saving through or fall prone.
Greatsword (sweeping strike). Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., all targets in a 20 foot radius semi-circle (one attack roll for all targets). Hit: 22 (4d6 + 8) plus 4 (1d8) necrotic damage. All creatures hit by this attack must succeed in a DC 18 Strength saving through or fall prone.
Sin's Temptation. The Avatar lets a loud hiss as this powerful force implodes and draws creatures towards it. All creatures of the Avatar's choice within 50 feet of it must succeed in a DC 18 Strength saving throw or take 7 (2d6) force damage and be pulled 20 feet towards the avatar.
Sinful Aspect. The Avatar selects a creature it can see within 60 feet and brands it with a cardinal sin. That creature must succeed a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or be afflicted the with one of the effects below depending on the result. A creature can only be branded with one sin at a time. The effect lasts until the end of the target's next turn.
- Envy. The target cannot directly target any creature other than the avatar with attacks or spells.
- Gluttony. The target feels as if they're starving to death. Their movement speed is halved and they have disadvantage on all ability checks, attack rolls, and Constitution saving throws.
- Greed. The target becomes charmed by the avatar and on each of its turns it does nothing but try to safely move toward object till it is within 5 feet of it. While the effected creature is within 5 feet of the object, it can do nothing but stare greedily at it.
- Lust. The target becomes charmed by the Avatar, while charmed in this way they cannot directly target the Avatar with their attacks, as well as This effect ends if the Avatar deals damage to the target.
- Pride. The target feels overly confident and becomes immune to being frightened but all attacks against the target have advantage and the target has disadvantage on all saving throws.
- Sloth. The target gains the effects of the slow spell.
- Wrath. The target gains the effects of the enemies abound spell.
Zorayas Blast (recharge 6). The avatar fires a giant laser from its maw that is 120 feet long and 10 feet wide. All creatures in this line must succeed in a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 66 (12d10) force damage.
The Avatar can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Avatar regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d8 + 8) bludgeoning damage.
Sinful Aspect. The Avatar uses sinful aspect.
Sinful Sword (costs 2 actions). The Avatar plunges its sword into the ground causing its blade to shoot up from the ground directly underneath a creature it can see within 60 feet of it. The Avatar makes a greatsword attack against that creature and on a hit it takes the regular damage of a greatsword attack and must succeed in a DC 18 Strength saving throw or fall prone.
