Water Breathing. The Jellyfish can only breathe while underwater.
Bioluminescence. The Jellyfish gives off dim light in a radius of 15 ft.
Hypnotic Colours. The jellyfish create a twisting pattern of colours that weaves through the water inside a 20-foot cube centred on itself. The pattern appears for a moment and vanishes. Each creature in the area who sees the pattern must succeed on a DC11 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes charmed by the jellyfish. While charmed in this way, the creature is incapacitated and has a speed of 0.
The spell ends for an affected creature if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its stupor.
Sting. Melee Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5ft. Hit: 5 (2d4+1) poison damage OR 4(1d6+1) lightning damage. Target must make a Constitution Saving Throw (DC13) or be paralyzed (poison) or Stunned (lightning) for one round.
Heal. The jellyfish glows brighter, flashes of pink streaking along its body. It restores 3(1d4+1) hp.
Swarm. When a jellyfish takes significant damage, it can send out a chemical signal to congregate on an attacker/predator to inflict mass damage. Any jellyfish that hasn't used their movement does so to surround the target, and every jellyfish that has already used their movement will begin their next turn to move towards the target. Every additional jellyfish over 3 jellyfish gains advantage on their attacks, and attack modifier becomes +2 instead of 1.
Dive. When a jellyfish takes a significant hit, it can send out a chemical signal to the rest of the colony to deep dive. Any jellyfish that hasn't used their movement uses their movement to dive, dashing if their action is not used. Every jellyfish that has already used their movement will begin their next turn to dive and action to dash..
Stinging Body. When the jellyfish is attacked in melee, it may make a sting attack against the attacker as a reaction.
Description
Auroura Jellyfish drift in colonies between 50 and 250, often first detected from their bioluminescent glow.
They are neutral creatures that do not attack save for feeding, and their stingers are more defensive than offensive.
They are a beautiful species of jellyfish, the bells resembles that of an unfurled flower, with hypnotic swirling patterns in shades of blue, green, and purple. Their long , gauzy tentacles appear lacy and ribbon-like in appearance, ringed by very thin, silky tentacles that inflict poison or lightning damage.
Purple jellyfish- poison damage.
Blue jellyfish- lightening damage
Green jellyfish- both/either.
