Description
This monster is an undead phantom that is usually harmless but when provoked they can whisper directly to your ears from a distance poisonous words.
It always wears a dark black cape that covers part of its face and all its body. What is not covered is black void except its skeletal hands.
It is a manifestation of the fear that a dead humanoid experienced during its life. After a humanoid has a fearful experience, powerful mages may extract the feeling after its death and manifest it on the Ethereal or the Material plane.
Angst Phantoms are not inherently evil nor are they good. They simply exist and would normally attack only if provoked, otherwise they would pass on through wandering aimlessly and with no purpose.
