Swarm Tactics: Wandering Husks are often encountered in groups, using pack tactics to overwhelm their enemies. When another Wandering Husk is within 5 feet of a target, the Husk has advantage on attack rolls against that target.
Decrepit Form: Due to its deteriorated state, the Wandering Husk can squeeze through tight spaces as if it were one size smaller.
Relentless Pursuer: Once the Wandering Husk has identified a target, it relentlessly pursues it until either the target is destroyed or the Husk itself is destroyed. It gains advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Wisdom (Survival) checks to track its prey.
Multiattack. The Wandering Husk makes two attacks with its claws.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) slashing damage.
Reanimated Undead (Recharge 5-6). The Wandering Husk targets up to three creatures within 30 feet. Each target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature comes back under the control of the Husk as a zombie.
Description
Once an ordinary inhabitant of the insect kingdom, the Wandering Husk now embodies the tragic consequences of the infection's grasp. Its once vibrant form has been twisted and decayed, consumed by the darkness that now controls it. Sickly tendrils of shadowy energy pulse beneath its cracked carapace, its eyes now empty voids that betray the malevolent force driving its actions.
The Wandering Husk's movements are jerky and erratic, a haunting reminder of the creature it once was. Yet its every action is now driven by the insatiable hunger of the infection, leaving only desolation and despair in its wake. Beware this twisted remnant of innocence, for it is a grim testament to the devastation wrought by the infection upon the insect kingdom.
